The Tawa Room is a home away from home where toddlers can feel happy, safe and secure. It is a peaceful place where toddlers can freely move and explore in their own way and at their own pace.

 

This age group is embarking on a journey to becoming their own person trying to achieve independence from the adults to whom they are emotionally attached. During this time we recognise that they need continued emotional support and understanding as they embark on this exciting part of their journey. We view our roles as a dance in partnership with your toddler as we work together throughout each day. 

 

Rituals and routines are a valuable part of a toddler’s world as through these a toddler feels a sense of empowerment as they can predict what happens next.
